Baboush - Dallas Wine Bars
Baboush is a restaurant and bar that harkens thoughts of Rick's cafe a la Casablanca. The owners, Yaser Khalaf and Sam Benoikken, wanted to bring Dallas a space with the sophistication and style of place they would find in LA, New York, Paris, London, Moscow, or Marrakesh. With warm world music playing in the background, distictive ethnic furnishings and decor, and a mouthwatering menu of food and drink, they've been successful in achieving their endeavors.
Although their wine list isn't the most extensive in Dallas, you'll find a strong selection, including varieties you can't find elsewhere. Bottles hail from Morocco, Rias Baixas, and Rhone. While glasses are a little pricier than you'll find at other Dallas wine bars, the food pairs well with them and you're likely to leave more satisfied than you would other establishments.
